The text is in German but just about every page in this book contains an illustration, making it the best collection of Bruckner-related images ever published. And the illustrations are directly transferred from the ONB's massive collection of photographs, letters and manuscripts. It is simply extraordinary!
Also, the book is well constructed and weighs over three pounds. I suffered during my trip lugging copies of these books around. I would have brought more home but I was at my weight limit!
