Symphony No. 7: Aquino / Filharmonica Musica Sacra / DVD
What makes this performance unique (other than being the first Bruckner symphony ever to be performed in the Dominican Republic) is that the conductor, Darwin Aquino was carefully coached by Bruckner scholar, William Carragan to observe all of the performance markings present in the first published edition of the symphony.
The DVD comes with a thoroughly annotated booklet in Spanish, but anyone who purchases the DVD through me will receive the original English annotations contained in the booklet.
Watch a video of William Carragan and John Berky discussing this performance.
A visually beautiful production.
