While commercial CD producers have been good at issuing full-length historic recordings, they have neglected many of the shorter works and recordings that have only featured excerpts. This second volume of selected early recordings (Volume i is BSVD-0101) features orchestral and large choral compositions. While the sound quality varies due to different recording sources, the recordings provide a rare glimpse into the early performance practices of Bruckner's works.
