Philipp Maintz: "Timbres" window on Bruckner's 7th Symphony

This work was commissioned for the Oehms Classics cycle of Bruckner symphonies as transcribed for organ. The composer refers to the work as a chorale prelude to Bruckner's Te Deum and incorporates the theme from "non confundar in aeternum" in the Te Deum and the second theme of the Adagio in the Symphony No. 7.
