Gerhard Track: Hymnus for OrchestraGerhard Track's Hymnus for Orchestra was written as a hommage to Anton Bruckner. There is a recording of the work on a PMI CD with Gerhard Track conducting the Austrian Radio (ORF) Symphony Orchestra. There is also a recording on a custom LP incorporating a performance by the 1969 Minnesota Municipal Youth Orchestra. Since this recording is virtually unavailable, I have offered the performance here.
