The 2024 Bruckner Society of America / Bruckner Journal Readers Conference

The Bruckner Society of America and The Bruckner Journal are delighted to be able to share the program of Bruckner Now and Then/Bruckner Jetzt und Damals, an International Congress held in honor of the 200th anniversary of Bruckner’s birth. Bruckner Now and Then will take place in conjunction with the Brucknertage festival in Saint Florian, Austria, 20-23 August 2024. It is co-sponsored by the Bruckner Society of America. The participants include established scholars, experts in various fields, and some new voices from Germany and Austria, the US, and the UK. Topics range from performance and analysis to criticism and the history of Bruckner studies. We welcome anyone interested in Bruckner and his music to attend some or all of these sessions!
