2025 Playlist
The plan at this time is go retro by presenting a Brucknerathon entirely on LP record. All but three of the recordings will be newly pressed audiophile LPs that have been released in recent years. It will give critical listeners an opportunity to detect the subtle differences inherent in analogue reproduction. In three cases, we will be going back to vintage LP recordings that were never commercially transferred to compact disc. Where possible, we will provide a video or SACD audio of a movement to these performances for the sake of audio comparison.
