The first volume of the New Bruckner Edition is released.
The MWV in Vienna has announced that the first volume of the New Complete Bruckner Edition has been published. It is the Symphony No. 1 in C Minor in what will be referred to as the "1868 Linz Edition." This is the first performance edition and is quite close to the Carragan Edition used by Georg Tintner in his Naxos cycle. This new edition has been prepared by Thomas Roeder. At present, only the full conductor's score is available.

You can purchase this new volume either as an individual purchase or as part of a complete subscription.

The conductor's score sells for 317.50 Euros plus approx. 56 Euros for postage. If you agree to subscribe to the entire edition (39 volumes), the cost of this first volume is 254.00 Euros plus the 56 Euros postage.

All volumes are published in large format (24.5 cm. x 33 cm.) with elegantly impressed cloth binding.

The deadline for subscribing to the New Bruckner Edition is June 30, 2018. This is non-cancelable subscription and entails the obligation to purchase the entire edition.

If you are interested in purchasing either the first volume or the entire subscription, please contact me at john@abruckner.com
