Bruckner mentioned in UK's "Private Eye" Magazine
On page 18 of Private Eye Magazine issue No. 1457, there is a brief note about a protest taking place in Liverpool. It seems that the renovations of the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall are removing some protected covering over some of the entrances. These entrances have been a gathering spot for some of the city's homeless people and afforded them some protection and a place to sleep. Local charities that work with the homeless are protesting the change. The article continues, The Philharmonic has been forced to issue statements of regret and promises to find alternative solutions, though what they might be is anyone's guess. Maybe the rough-sleepers should be asked inside, to snore through Bruckner symphonies. They wouldn't be the first.

Ouch!!!
