Jesus Masia's Bruckner "Fantasias"
Jesus Masia lives in Spain and he recently directed me to some sound files that he prepared. I thought that many of you would be interested in his work. Jesus Masia writes, "I am a self-trained composer and pianist. My passion is the Post Romantic period of music and especially the complete works of the great Anton Bruckner. This Symphony that I composed is just a tribute, not a mockup nor any pretention to be at the level of my admired Master. The composition was primarily scored and performed to be played by Acordeon Excelsior and Piano and then orchestrated on a computer using SONAR as a sequencer and EWQL SO Platinum XP as a library. I am now looking for a real orchestra to record a live performance. The tempo and performance is in the style of Sergiu Celibidache.(My prefered conductor)". |
