June, 2023: Symphony No. 4 / Joseph Kreutzer / Royal Danish Orchestra / Landscape CD

This is another example of a mystery CD. I have never found anything about a Joseph Kreutzer (except for the composer who died in 1840). The Kreutzer / Royal Danish Orchestra team can be found on several recordings on various download sites, but there is no performance information available. Using the Shazam database that identifies recordings via an I-phone, this is identified as the Hans Zanotelli / South German Philharmonic recording. But that is just another of the Alfred Scholz productions that, in this case, uses Hans Zanotelli (a real conductor) and the non-existent South German Philharmonic to market budget recordings. To this date, we do not know who the actual performers are, but it's a good performance and this particular CD, produced in Germany, is a good production.
