Heinz Wallberg (1923-2004) was often referred to as a Bruckner specialist but he only made a few Bruckner recordings and those released on CD are now out-of-print or distributed in very limited ways. In the 1960's Wallberg recorded several Bruckner symphonies for the Concert Hall Society but they have never been offered on CD. This month we offer the Symphony # 4 that was recorded by the "N.O.
